Sinan Eroglu

actor, director, scriptwriter

Sinan Eroglu is an actor, filmmaker, and creative multitalent who has made a name for himself in both the Netherlands and Turkey. After once dreaming of a career as a professional footballer, he ultimately chose the arts and continued to develop his acting career after graduating from drama school in 2012. In the Netherlands, he gained widespread recognition for his role as Volkan in De Tatta’s. More recently, he appeared in films such as Mr. and Mrs. Aslan and Bledders, which he also co-wrote and creatively produced, as well as in the Netflix hit series Blind Sherlock. With Scotoe, he also proved his talent as a writer and director.

Sinan weaves his personal background and cultural identity into his work. As the son of a Turkish-Dutch working-class family, he tells sincere stories that build bridges between cultures and resonate with audiences. Alongside acting, music also plays an important role in his life, something he notably demonstrated through his portrayal of Jesus in The Passion.
