Loes Haverkort is a versatile actress, musician and photographer. After graduating from the Maastricht Academy of Dramatic Arts, she worked with leading theatre companies including ZT//Hollandia and the National Theatre. On screen, she has appeared in a wide range of film and television productions. Her recent work includes the Netflix hit film iHostage and the Videoland series Moeder Maffia, of which the third season has recently been released. In mid-September, the series De Eetclub, in which Haverkort plays the lead role, premiered on Netflix under the title The Perfect Lie and reached the global number one position among non-English series.
Alongside her acting career, Haverkort continues to develop her work as a visual artist. Her first photo book, Troost, was recently published and brings together her deep interest in imagery, intimacy, and emotion. Loes also made her directorial debut with the short film Eight Days (Acht Dagen), which premiered at the Netherlands Film Festival in late September.
