Halina Reijn is a Dutch filmmaker whose directorial career has rapidly gained international acclaim. She made waves with her thriller Babygirl starring Nicole Kidman, having previously directed the sharp satire Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022) and her earlier Dutch-language debut Instinct (2019). Most recently she co-directed The Tiger for Gucci alongside Spike Jonze. Before turning fully behind the camera, Reijn earned widespread respect as a performer, with a rich career in Dutch theatre, film, and television marked by boldness, intensity, and emotional honesty.
